The Kibble family has been using Land Cruisers since the first 3-speed Land Cruisers came out in East Africa.

We’ve been involved in the rebuilding of FJ45 Land Cruisers before moving on to the more modern day Land Cruisers and we performed the first successful twin turbo conversion on the HDJ79 V8 Land Cruisers. Safari Engineering Namibia specialise in performance upgrades of all Toyota Land Cruisers including Taller 5th gears.

Brian had been working in his father’s workshop repairing and overhauling Listers, Tractors, trucks, as well as re-building Land Cruisers & Land Rovers. After school he joined Barloworld / Namtrack and qualified.

He specialised in transmissions, engine re-build’s and hydraulics and after qualifying he worked together with his father, mainly working on Toyota’s. He then joined an Exploration Company and managed a fleet of 20 Land Cruisers working in the harshest conditions.

Moving to the United Kingdom, Brian worked for Cummins, specialising in engines and electronic diesel engines in different applications.

In 2012 Kevin, Brian’s brother, joined the business in Windhoek, after running his father's workshop and his own, in the north of Namibia. Kevin did his training at PW Pampe and qualified as Automotive Machinist with multiple qualifications in the marine industry. His expertise lies in automotive engineering and engine re-builds of which we have done quite a few.

Safari Engineering cc is now a team of 12 really talented people, and has an ever-growing extensive client base, we have secured agencies and products from Australia which best suit the Toyota 4x4 vehicles in Namibia.
